Today I have a lot of things going on with my blog. First, because today is Wednesday, it is the Coloring Down The Lines Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Sandy's blog (no, not the hurricane - our Sandy is like a cool and sweet summer breeze), thank you. If you are starting here on my blog, no worries I will get you back on track.
This week we are showcasing Baja Breeze - no pun intended - tee hee. We use our Color Coach and pick one of the two color combos using Baja Breeze. We can choose either Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze, and Basic Gray or Baja Breeze, More Mustard, and Cherry Cobbler. I chose the second combo. But, before I show you my creation, I also played with the Red Hot Stampers design challenge. Here is their cute design:
And here is what I came up with:
I thought just using plain card stock would be just a tad bit boring. So I picked three different embossing folders and ran my card stock thru my Big Shot. I must be stuck on Wacky Wishes this week too. LOL! I added just a little bit of bling to make my card pop just a bit more.
My Stampin' Supplies
- Stamp Set
- Wacky Wishes
- Card Stock
- Baja Breeze
- Cherry Cobbler
- More Mustard
- Very Vanilla
- Classic Stampin' Ink Pad
- Baja Breeze
- Houndstooth Embossing Folder
- Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
- Square Lattice Embossing Folder
- Mini Brads
- Big Shot
- Paper Piercing Tool
- Stampin' Piercing Mat
- Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue - I use this glue on the back of my textured card stock so it will not flatten the design like the SNAIL would.
Now, it is time to hop on over to Tracy's blog. I have not checked out her creation yet, but I am sure she did an awesome job with whichever combo she used.
